This book is great for those of us who just can't read mundane science text books. I agree with the other reviewers though, you need to get the basics from this book and more in depth info from the text book. I also used free online courseware (MOOCs) as additional aids.

Good book, but do not make the mistake of thinking this book will help with your physiology class! I learned a lot from this book, and it is a great source for basic physiology and anatomy. It does not present enough detailed information to supplement any college class. Get it if you're just interested in learning how the human body works in-a-nutshell.
